1. The PMPĀ® Credential Handbook
Read at least pages 1-25 of the PMPĀ® Handbook from PMIĀ®. The PMPĀ® Handbook is also known as the PMPĀ® Credentials Handbook.

Ensure that you are eligible to take the exam.
You can find the eligibility criteria in the PMPĀ® Handbook, which you have just read. Make sure that you meet them!

Read PMPĀ® Examination Content Outline which gives you an overview of what you will be tested on during the almost 4-hour PMPĀ® Exam. After reading this you will know exactly which areas to focus on during your studies, and you also do know the vocabulary to use while filling out your PMP application:
