Of course, you will need to bring along your memory. And also a well-rested body and a positive frame of mind.

Physically, you will need your formal identification; your ID.

PMI specifies a valid Government-issued form of photo-ID. So make sure your is up to date and not expired. It must contain a recent photo and your signature.

Examples include:

  • A driver's license
  • A passport
  • Military ID
  • A national ID card (with photo)
  • A national registration card

You will not need...

  • A calculator - the maths will be simple and you should be able to do much of it in your head. But the computer software has a calculator built-in.
  • Paper, pens, pencils, or other writing instruments. The software contains a scratch pad and administrators will provide you with any of this at a center.

Tips for Your On-the-Day Logistics

Check and double-check the date, time, and place of your exam, and make yourself a checklist well in advance for your exam day. This way, exam nerves won't cause you to make an error or forget something.

Get an early rest the night before your exam. Then, get up early in the day so you have plenty of time for your morning rituals without the need to rush.

Travel

If you can, visit the premises (if you are using an exam center) a week or so ahead of your exam. And, on the day, plan to arrive between 30 and 60 minutes early.

In the next lesson, we will talk about the specific things you need to consider when taking the Online proctored version of the exam ...,
